This policy covers the Break Time Billiards app for our Cary, NC and Fuquay-Varina, NC locations. In short: the app doesn't collect, store, or share any personal information about you.
What the app does
Information We Collect
Break Time Billiards is an informational app — hours, menu, beer lineup, tournaments, live table availability, and location details for both Break Time Billiards locations. It does not have user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or precise location.
The app never requests access to:
- Your location
- Contacts
- Camera or microphone
- Photos
- Any account or sign-in information
Read-only, no account needed
Live Table & Specials Data
The Tables tab shows real-time pool table availability, and the Menu tab shows active weekly specials, for each location. Both are fetched from a small, publicly-readable data file we host — the app only ever reads this data; it never sends any information about you, your device, or your usage back to it or to us. There's no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDK in this app.
Only when you tap "Add to Calendar"
Calendar Access
If you tap a tournament or event to add it to your calendar, the app requests write-only calendar access — it can create that one event, but it cannot read your existing calendar entries. This uses Apple's or Android's standard system calendar, entirely on your device; nothing is sent to us.
On your device only
Notifications & Preferences
Your choice of light/dark appearance is saved only on your device. Nothing here is transmitted to us, to Break Time Billiards, or to any third party.
Linking out
Third-Party Content
The Menu and Beer Lineup tabs may display live pages from breaktimecary.com inside the app. Standard web technologies (such as cookies) that site uses are subject to Break Time Cary's own practices, not this policy. Tapping "Get Directions" opens Maps; tapping a phone number or email opens your device's own Phone, Mail, or Messages app. None of this passes through us.

Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — there's simply nothing in the app that collects it.
If this changes
Changes to This Policy
If Break Time Billiards ever adds a feature that changes what's described here (for example, an account system or push notifications sent from a server), we'll update this page and its effective date above before that feature ships.
